Fear Donna,
I was thrilled to find this site, having just finished your book, "Nobody, Nowhere". I loved this article, and agree with you. My sister calls the underclass that prides itself on it's ignorance, the feral people. I was lucky to be born working class, and while there were the alcohal related problems and the continual lack of money, there was the hope, at least from my Mom, that her kids would do better and get an education. It is sometimes difficult for parents to really desire that there kids do better than they did. My Dad was very threatened by the upward mobility of his kids, and did not often support our movement towards professionalism.
I so admire you and ask you to continue to help educate all of us.
Blessings,
Lorrie Eaton, DC

I realise your Inbox is probably perpetually clogged with emails like these but anyway was wondering if you've an email address I can write directly to? I was dxed with Asperger's some time ago ago and am facing a lot of confusion and furstration over it (though not for the reasons one would usually expect) and would like to talk to you if thats okay.
