<description>Being religious or atheist says nothing about moral standards. We hear about people who proclaim themselves to be religious and commit terrible crimes and kill many people in the name of faith of which they pervert and go against what the founders of faith intented.
On the other hand, I know many people, including close family members, who are atheist and have very high moral standards and strive to live by the golden rule. Atheists can be spiritual in their own ways.
I consider myself very spiritual and do believe in god, not in human form but in all encomlishing in and around every thing and form. I am Jewish of decent and of faith, but attend several Christian churches in my area since there are no synogogues close by and the basic message of faith are simular enough. I do not go along with the religious right type of thinking. I do not look down upon others who do not share the same faith or beliefs as me. I respect all cultures. I meditate and pray a few time daily and am very much of a sensing type of person, though I can interpret some things.
