Radio Interviews by autistic author Donna Williams

July9

Confetti Thoughts Drifting, by Donna Williams I recently had two radio interviews some of you may find interesting. In the first radio interview I talk about life as an autistic author. In the second I talk about my work and experience as a consultant in the field of autism in which I worked with around 600 people on the autistic spectrum over 8 years, being employed by education, health and social services departments as well as by families and directly by people on the spectrum themselves. Somewhere in these interviews the interviewer and I veer off discussion of autism and into discussions as vast as ‘normality’, humanity and spirituality. Here’s the links:

    Dear Donna,

Last night I heard an interview with you on CBC radio – the interviewer’s name was Peter. Apparently it was an interview done way back in the 1990′s. This is the first time I have heard about you. I found the interview to be exceptionally interesting, and you to be an amazing person. I gained some insight into your particular world and it was so informative and fascinating to me.

I look forward to buying and reading your first book, Nobody Nowhere.

I look forward to learning more about you and the work that you do. You are a remarkable person, a wonderful person to have in this world.

    Sincerely,
    Tracy
