if I could use Spock's transporter I'd go to the South Pole whilst it still exists and cry some futile tears of apology to the dying polar bears who are drowning because of human gluttony.

then if I had a time machine I'd go back and see my father and grandparents and Sister Jellie in a safe space and tell them thank you for how I turned out.

then if I had a magic wand I would have humans realise they are animals, equal to all animals on this planet and part of nature so we could understand what beingness is about and have compassion more than sympathy, belonging with more than ownership of, our animal comrades on this planet.

Athena Ivan,

Have you seen some of the poems on my website? Just click on my link and go into the 'poetry' section of my website. You will find links to the subsections, which are denoted as: A - C, D - J, K - S, T - W and X - 9. The first four categories are grouped in this way, because they were the stand letters of Ashton bus station (1985 - 94)!

Donna,

I wish I could see your exhibition. The problem is I'm double booked. If I had asked Mr Spock if I could use his teleport, I would jump at the chance!

Bye bye,

Stuart.

hey there.....
yay art! though I am horrible at drawing...........I'm a mathie autie. Which is odd considering I'm only in precalc at almost 23 yrs old.......did calc before but because of misdiagnosis and wrong meds.......I lost some stuff......I have only recently discovered how fast my mind can be with math if I am in a very quiet place.......I write poems too, Stuart.........I have to get mine up on the computer......I quit writing for a while because I screwed up the numbering order.........on my poems......that made me upset enough not to write for a while (Donna, you mentioned a similar instance with the typewriter.....when the paper appeared in it........you weren't friends for a long time) same with me and writing poems. well......gotta eat before hypoglycemia lands me on the floor passed out......
cheers
can't wait to see you in November

Him Mima,

lovely work your boy has done. Hope to go to his exhibition one day!
perhaps his art works could make good covers for cards.

Hi Stuart,

if you were here I'd have you do some poetry reading at the art show :-)

Hi once more to Donna and a hello to Mima.

Mima: I'm glad you found the Donna Williams blog. I, like your oldest child am an artie autie. One of my earliest works was a map of UK, which I did from memory at the age of four. I've seen your child's drawing and the level of detail is commendable. I didn't use perspective till I was five and a half, though a early school report noted drawing skills unseen till the mid teens (I was eight at the time).

If you click on my name above this comment, you will see examples of my drawings via my website.

Donna: it is good to hear about your Melbourne exhibition.

Take care,

Stuart.

Hi Donna,
I´m glad to find your blog. I red your book and I did like it very much. The oldest of our children is autist (9 years old). He started to draw 3D pictures very soon - being 3 and half years old. The following one he draw having four and half years:

The other pictures on the blog are also made by him in different ages.
Best regards,
mima

Hello Donna,

I am a student who is studying at the Glasgow School of Art and have committed my time to understand the place of art for autistic artists. I have read your books and am very touched by your art. I believe that you will be able to shed some light in my search for answers and hence am writing to you. I will be very grateful if you could spare some time for me to answer some questions which will help me to understand autistic children and their art making ability. My e-mail is akshayee_shetty@yahoo.com and I hope to hear from you.

Thank you for your time.

Regards
