I have long been an admirer of Caiseal Mór as an author. I have Asperger's Syndrome. However, my life has been much easier than the author's, whose courage and endurance are inspirational. My apologies if the last phrase is somewhat clichéd, but I sincerely mean this. That he was led to believe that his autism was a sentence of institutionalisation, and that his publishing company wished to suppress the truth, and that he suffered such abuse all seems very unjust.

Thanks for sharing this. Every sort of story like this makes us feel that it may well be worth unloading the baggage of being in the closet about this sort of thing at some point in time. we were not abused like that, not physically.........but psychological/emotional rape is also a concept that does exist........part of that is unfortunately self-inflicted.......not intentionally but because we don't have time or energy or the right context to come out.
