Do not get me wrong. Every word that you have been writing is true, but it saddens me that the world might be judging EVERY American to be like Bush and his cronies. My representatives and senators are constantly hearing from me that I want this idiocy to end, and that this war in unwinnable and was unwinnable to begin with. My father is a Vietnam vet, and he said this is just like Vietnam-a war that cost much and earned us nothing. Nothing good, anyway. They are catering to their base of corporate lobbyists, giving contracts (for war-related works, which means more war equals more work) to their friends and families, guaranteeing a renewal of votes for the next election. It's simple political manoeuvers at the expense of american and foreign lives, people with pasts and futures...
