My girlfriend has an autistic sister and she created a documentary that focused on children with autistic siblings. It can be viewed at specialsiblings.org

Ah Donna, such a perceptive and empathetic lady.Thoroughly enjoy reading what you have to say.

I have a daughter who is 11. She is very good with Mark, her 6 year(nearly 7 now)old autistic brother, and he adores his big sister.
I think my daughter mothers him a bit.

A few weeks ago she came home and said that another boy at school had called her "a retard like you're brother."(shakes head!)

Fortunately she ignored this provocative statement.

p.s. Your seven beautiful paintings have pride of place in my loungeroom.
They have drawn many positive comments from family and friends alike.
Are you still painting? Do you have much time these days?
