SOUNDSCAPES – Introducing a new music and drama program
Combining color with rhythms and beats, movement, voice and characterisation, the hour long, interactive Soundscapes Program combines elements of music and drama into the one program.
The Soundscapes Program is the concept of professional musician, Paul Spears, a member of the music theatre company, Aspinauts For Kids and owner of PV Sounds. Paul developed his concept in association with qualified teacher and international autism consultant, Donna Williams.
All involved in the Soundscapes Program have Working With Children cards.
The Soundscapes Program offers the opportunity for children to develop:
* social improvisation
* social skills
* body language
* emotional expression
* identifying feelings
* vocalising and speaking skills
* following instructions
* awareness of volume and modulation
* building confidence
* a sense of fun
